At VeriClock, we value customer feedback and are pleased to introduce enhancements to our third-party approval workflows. This release expands routing controls and improves verification tracking, strengthening multi-level time validation and compliance oversight.
The Third-Party Approval feature enables designated external approvers to confirm employee-submitted hours, including physical presence at job sites. Approvals can be completed via SMS, email, directly within the mobile app, or on a printed timecard—providing flexible verification options for field and multi-location teams.
This feature has been increasingly requested within the caregiving industry and industries doing service jobs in repair work or installation. These industries had been looking for a way for clients to sign off on dispatch work or caregivers' time and physical presence on the job.
How Third Party Approval feature works
Set Options
Choose the third party approval sign-off method from several options. See here for more details on the various options.
Optionally schedule a time for approval to be sent out to third parties automatically.
Set Third Party Approver Contact Details
For each job/client, specify the third party who will approve the employee's time and set the SMS and/or email address the approval request will be sent to.
Send and track approval requests by employee, job or date
Search for one or more individuals, select a time period, and/or one or more jobs. An approval request will be created for each employee/job shift that was completed during the search period. An employee can create a request for their own shifts, managers can request approvals for their managed employees, and admins can request approvals for all employees.
After confirmation, an email and sms (if enabled) will be sent to the associated third party(s).
Third Party Reviews and Approves Time
Third party approval requests can be sent and signed by email or SMS.
Approving time is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
- Open the email or click on the link in the SMS
- Sign with your finger
- Click approve
