Third Party Approvals are a way for a third party to sign off on employee time and physical presence for employee hours worked. Approvals may be sent out daily, for each pay period, or for a custom time period.
To view active approval requests from the employee device, have the employee either click on the Signature Requests tab in their VeriClock app menu, or click on the Third Party Approval tab when logged into the employee account from a desktop computer.
The approver can print a paper copy to manually sign off on employee time, by clicking on the blue Action button and then clicking on the Print option.
Clicking on Print will send the timesheet with blank signature approval box to the printer listed in the printer destination box.
Before signing off on an employee timesheet, review the employee hours worked during this approval request period. Signing the timesheet confirms the hours are correct.
If there are any discrepancies between the hours listed and the hours actually worked, contact the employer. A new Approval request can be sent out after discrepancies have been resolved. After approving and signing the employee timesheet, forward the signed paper timesheet to the employer.
