VeriClock allows admins and managers (with permission) to add new jobs directly from the mobile app when a desktop isn’t available, ensuring uninterrupted clock-ins and accurate job tracking. Jobs can be created either during clock in or from the Job/Service Item Info menu by entering a job name, code, description, and optional overtime exemption, with the new job immediately available for employee use. This mobile-only workflow supports fast, on-the-go job creation, while edits to existing jobs are completed later from a web browser for full administrative control.
Add A Job At Clock In
Open the VeriClock app and navigate to the clock in screen. To add a new job, under Job, click on Select for the job drop-down list.
Instead of selecting an existing job, click on the + to create a new job.
Enter a job name (required), a unique job code (job code will be generated if left blank) and a job description (optional). Check the box next to OT Exempt if this job will not be included in calculations to determine if overtime occurred. Click Save to save this job or Cancel to exit without saving.
Once saved, a confirmation screen will pop up confirming the job has been added. Click OK to continue.
The newly created job will be automatically selected for this clock in, or click on the job drop-down to change jobs or create a new one.
Once a user is clocked in, as needed, they can add an activity report photo, file attachment, or text by clicking on Activity Report. Adding activity reports can be done while clocked in.
Add A Job Without Clocking In
Open your VeriClock app and click on the menu (3 horizontal bars in top left corner of screen). From your menu list, click on Job/Service Item Info.
Click on Search/View Job Info.
On the View Job Screen, click on the + sign icon along the top right side of your screen.
This will direct you to the Add Job page in your app.
Enter a job name (required), a unique job code (job code will be generated if left blank) and a job description (optional). Check the box next to OT Exempt if this job will not be included in calculations to determine if overtime occurred. Click Save to save this job or Cancel to exit without saving.
Once saved, a confirmation screen will pop up confirming the job has been added. Click OK to continue.
You have successfully created a job from your VeriClock app. Employees will now be able to select this job for clock in.
