PTO works like a databank for hours, where you can track the balance for a PTO type whether that PTO is paid-time off, or unpaid-time off. Adjust the balance with a + or - along with a comment noting the adjustment made, to track all time going in and coming out for each employee.
Make A Balance Adjustment
Navigate to your account tabs: Time→ PTO→ Balances→ click on a PTO type to adjust the balance for that type. Balance changes can be uploaded in batch using the +Import/Export button, or they can be adjusted manually one employee at a time. To the right of the employee name, click on the pencil to manually adjust the balance for that employee.
Adjust the balance with a positive, or negative number, OR adjust the final balance. Your comment can be as detailed as needed, and is stored in the balance history with all details about the adjustment.
