This article explains how to create, record, and send broadcast voice notifications to your workforce using VeriClock’s messaging tools, helping teams receive consistent updates and instructions. You’ll also learn how to select recipient groups and manage message delivery options.
This IVR feature (available for phone clock in only), is a way to send customized messages for employees to hear when they clock in by phone clock in. See Clocking in by Phone & SMS for phone clock in setup.
- To use this feature, first contact support to have the messaging feature enabled in your account.
Send A Voice Message
- Once enabled in your account, click on the envelope icon that will now be visible beneath the VeriClock logo in your account.
- Click on Send Voice Message to send out a new customized message.
- Select any employees who will hear this message at clock in.
- Create a message.
- Select the number of days (up to 6 days) the message will play for.
- Click the blue Send button at the bottom of the page.
View The Status Of Sent Voice Messages
- Click on Sent Voice Messages to view the status of messages already sent out.
- Click the blue plus icon to the left of each message to view status details.
- The message will be displayed, along with a history time stamp of employees who heard the message.
- Click the red Disable button to inactivate a message, or wait for a message to expire.
View all active messages
- As this is a new experimental feature, only 1 voice message will be played for each employee at clock in. The message played for each employee, will be the one with the latest sent date that has not been disabled or expired.
- Note, only employees selected to receive a voice message will hear that message at clock in.
