VeriClock Custom List Fields let employers require or optionally prompt employees to select an item from a dropdown at clock in or out, or display read-only instructions without blocking time entry. Each selection is tied to the employee’s time event, making it easy to review later for payroll accuracy, job tracking, and compliance.
Common uses include:
- tracking materials used during a shift
- tracking whether or not the employee did a task during their shift
- employee triggered break deduction
- instructions for an employee to read at clock in or out
- recording an employees official affirmation they have completed a required duty. Since this affirmation is attached to an employee’s daily time event, it can be accessed by an admin at a later date as confirmation that the employee completed the task.
Click List Items tab to add new list items
- To set up a custom list field, follow the steps above.
- The name of any custom field is what the employee will see when they clock in/out.
- To add new list items, click on + Add List Item. List items require a code and a name, description is optional. Click the blue Save button, to save your custom field before navigating away.
