Number-Type Custom Fields in VeriClock

Number fields in VeriClock capture numeric data at clock in or out and store it directly with each time record for reporting. Admins can set minimum and maximum values to prevent invalid entries or control limits, ensuring accurate totals and clean payroll and job cost reports. One common use of the number custom field is to track mileage.

For number fields, a minimum value range can be entered to prevent negative numbers. However, if a negative number is allowed, it will subtract from the column total sum for any time period generated in a report. A max value can be set to prevent employees from going over an allotted number.
