Authorizing the VeriClock Kiosk App securely links a tablet or shared device to your VeriClock account for employee clock in and clock out. After downloading the app, administrators authorize the kiosk by scanning a QR code or entering the account domain and configuration code from the VeriClock web settings. Once the device appears in the approved devices list and is authorized, the kiosk is ready for use. This process ensures only approved devices can record time, helping maintain accurate, secure time tracking across shared kiosks.
After downloading the VeriClock Kiosk App from the App Store or the Play Store on to your tablet, you first need to authorize the App for use with your VeriClock Account.
Step 1. Navigate to Settings --> More --> Kiosk Setup in your VeriClock Account
Step 2. Using the camera on your tablet, take a picture of the QR code. Alternative, manually enter your VeriClock account domain and configuration code into the app.
Step 3. On the website, click on Reload List - you should now see the newly registered device in your list of approved devices. Click Approve to authorize the device.
Step 4. Back on the tablet, click on "Check if Approved" - if the device has been approved in Step 3 above, the Kiosk will be ready for use!
