Learn how to manually add or edit employee time in VeriClock. This article provides instructions on how to use the "Add Time-Grid" and "Activity" pages for making adjustments to clocked hours, as well as how to track edit history and ensure accurate timekeeping.
There are 2 ways for Admin, Managers and employees (with the correct permissions) to enter and edit time on their desktop. One is through the Add Time-Grid page, the other is through Activity. All edits can be viewed through Edit History.
How to Enter or Edit Employee Time through Add Time Grid
Click the Time tab at the top of your screen, then click Add Time-Grid
On the Add Time-Grid page follow these steps shown on the images below:
- Choose the employee you wish to edit from drop down list (employees will only see their own name)
- Use arrows to choose dates or click on the week to open calendar
- Edit choose job and service item as needed
- Click on the day’s time to change duration or change start and stop times in pop up
- Click Save to save changes
Important: Edit notes are recommended to leave notes on changes made See: Edit History and Edit Notes at the bottom of this page.
How to Edit Employee time through the Activity Page
Click the Time tab at the top of the page, then click Activity to open the Activity page.
On the Activity page follow these steps shown on the images below:
- Click Search Period and choose the date range you need to edit from the drop down list.
- Click Advanced Options to open choices below.
- Use Advanced Options to filter search selection such as the Employee you want to edit
- Click Search to open filtered time events.
- Click on the line of the time event you want edit to open.
- Click the blue Edit button to make changes.
- Change Start Time on the right-hand side

Change End Time on the left-hand side
- you can click on the time and choose from times in the dropdown list or click the wrench edit button to choose a precise time with exact hours and minutes.
- Click the blue Save button to save changes.
- Important: Edit notes are recommended to leave notes on changes made.
Edit History including Edits Notes
Below the time event you can view Edit History. This will show an edit audit log, listing all details regarding original time event and edits made after. Edit Notes will show any notes entered at time of edit. Notes are recommended for future reference, for example: the reason the edit was made.
