We take customer feedback very seriously here at VeriClock and we are thrilled to announce a number of product updates that have been requested by many of our customers.
This release adds historical time edit restrictions, bulk employee and job imports, selfie clock-in verification, and enhanced clickable job links. These improvements strengthen payroll validation and reduce administrative workload.
Block editing and creating of completed time events
Admin Users can now block anyone (including themselves) from editing or creating time events that occurred in the past. This prevents time records from being altered once payroll has been run.

Bulk Export, Import, and Update Jobs and Employees
VeriClock now has an easy and efficient way to create new employees and jobs and edit existing employees and jobs using the batch import option. We've included a couple of videos (employees and jobs) to help demonstrate this feature.
Selfies and more
You can now control the methods by which an employee clocks in and out, require an employee to take and upload a selfie at clock in or out, and control whether an employee or manager must enter a start and end time (or duration only) when creating a time event.
To change these settings, navigate to Settings --> Time --> Settings
Clickable Links
You can now add a clickable link to a job or service item description for employees to open from the app. Employees can click on an address to see the address location on a map and navigate to that address. App users can also click on a link to open a web page or web document directly from the app.
