This guide shows employees how to access clickable links within the VeriClock app. Learn how to quickly navigate to essential links, such as job details or schedules, directly from your mobile device.
Clickable links can be used to call a phone number, navigate to an address, email someone, and to access a web page or web document directly from your VeriClock app. Clickable links need to be added by an account administrator and can be enabled on a per user basis.
Clickable links can be found in several places within the VeriClock app
- From the Clock In screen, when selecting the job or service item from the corresponding dropdown list, a job or service item with a clickable link, will have an
icon indicating an information field or a clickable link is present. Tap on the icon to access blue clickable links.
- From the Clock Out screen, while clocked in you can access any clickable links for the job and/or service item you are clocked into.
- From the Job/Service Item Info tab in the app menu. This is where you can view any/all available clickable links for any job or service item while you are already clocked in.
Access a Clickable Link from the Clock In Screen
From the app clock in screen, tap the arrow to the right of the job or service item dropdown
In the dropdown list, tap on the icon to access the clickable link for that job or service item
Next, tap on the blue clickable link to navigate to the corresponding address, web page, phone number, or email address.
Access a Clickable Link for the Job/Service Item You Are clocked Into
After you have clocked in, you can tap on the Info icon for the job or service item you are clocked into, directly from your Clock Out screen
Access all Clickable Links At Any Time
Tap the menu icon to access a clickable link for any job or service item, while you are clocked in or while clocked out
Tap on Job/Service Item Info
Tap on Search/View Job Info or Search/View Service Item Info depending on where the clickable link you need to access is stored
This will redirect you to the View Job or View Service Item tab where you can tap on the icon to view any clickable links for the corresponding job or service item. Tap on the link you would like to access.
Notes:
- Clickable links will only display for jobs or service items that have one added. If you do not have the Job/Service Item Info tab in your app menu and if you do not see the clickable link icon in your job or service item dropdown lists, then clickable links may not be available in your account. Contact your account administrator to see if this option is available for you.
- If you see a
note that is not clickable, there may be an information field that does not include a clickable link, or there may be a formatting error preventing a clickable link from showing. If an information field is not clickable and you think this is in error, contact your administrator to re-format the clickable link for your job or service item.
