Get familiar with the VeriClock app by understanding its full menu. This guide walks you through all the app features, including clocking in and out, viewing your schedule, requesting PTO, and syncing offline clock events.

View Your App Menu
Open your app menu to view all features enabled in your employer’s account. Click on the 3 horizontal bar icon in the top left corner of your app.
We suggest clicking through these menu items to get familiar with your app.
- Clock In/Out - redirects you back to your clock in or clock out screen. This screen also shows your time duration while you remain clocked in. If you forgot to clock in or out, you can add report notes with a quick clock in/out.
- Schedule - view your upcoming schedule. (only visible if enabled in your employer’s account)
- PTO - make requests to take time off work. (only visible if enabled in your employer’s account)
- Third Party Sign Off - time cards sent to an onsite supervisor or client for approval. (only visible if enabled in your employer’s account)
- Signature Requests - view your timecards and sign-off on your time after reviewing. (only visible if enabled in your employer’s account)
- Activity Reports - upload photos, files or notes while clocked in (also available from your clock in/out screen while clocked in)
- Events - view your past clock in and out time along with any notes you entered at clock in/out. You can scroll week by week to view all shifts you have clocked in/out, since your first day. Employees with edit permissions can edit from this tab.
- Notifications - view communications from your employer, along with any alerts setup for you. We recommend enabling notifications on your phone lock screen so you can view notifications when your app is in sleep mode. See steps below on enabling lock screen notifications.
- Job/Service Item Info - view details about your job that you may need to keep handy or access easily. See here for information on viewing job/service item notes.
- Sync Events - sync your offline clock events. This is for employees who have no data or Wi-Fi access. (only visible if enabled in your employer’s account). See here for information on using Offline Clock.
- Manage Accounts - lists all users logged in through your app. There should only be one user unless you are a user in multiple VeriClock accounts.
- About - Feedback - these tabs are used to send in your app logs.
