Learn how to manually add or edit your time entries using the VeriClock mobile app. This guide is useful for employees needing to adjust their clock-in or clock-out times after the fact.
Please note: To add or edit time from your mobile device without clocking in or out, this feature must be enabled by your system administrator.
To add time using the mobile app:
- Open the app on your device and log in. (See How to Set Up the VeriClock App if needed.)
- Tap the Menu Icon in the top left corner of the screen.
Tap the words Time Card in the menu.
Tap on the Plus icon "+" to create a time entry, or tap on an event to edit an existing clock event.
To enter your start and end times, make sure the “Enter Hours Only” toggle is turned off. Then tap the Start and End fields to enter the times you began and finished your workday.
By default, today’s date will be selected. If you need to enter time for a different day, tap the date field and choose your desired date from the list that appears at the bottom of the screen.
To enter total hours instead of start and end times, turn on the “Enter Hours Only” toggle. Then tap the Duration field and use the selector at the bottom of the screen to choose the hours and minutes worked.
Depending on your company’s setup, you may also need to complete additional fields. This could include selecting a Job or Service Item, typing out a Clock Report, filling in a custom field, or adding Activity Notes.
Once you have completed all required fields, tap on the Save button at the bottom of the screen.
When you tap “Save Event,” you may see an error message if something is missing or needs to be corrected. Any fields highlighted in red must be completed before your time can be saved.
