Learn how to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts in VeriClock when overlapping or conflicting shifts occur. This guide explains how conflict warnings appear when saving shifts, how to review unresolved conflicts, and how to edit, delete, or dismiss conflicting shifts to ensure accurate and conflict-free schedules before or after publishing.
When saving a shift, if a time conflict occurs, a conflicting shift popup will display on the screen. Clicking on Cancel will redirect you back to the shift to make changes. Clicking on Ignore & Publish will allow you to publish the shift and resolve the conflict after the shift has been saved.
Conflicts
Unresolved shift conflicts are displayed in the top right corner of the screen and represented by an icon with an exclamation point inside a triangle. A red circle will note the number of unresolved conflicts that need to be addressed. Conflicts are displayed in the week they occur. To resolve conflicts, click on the conflict icon.
A popup window displays a list of all shift conflicts. Use the gray scroll bar on the right hand side of the window to scroll up and down through conflicts. Click the Delete button to delete a conflicting shift. Click Edit to edit a shift so that it will no longer cause a conflict. Click Dismiss /Ignore Conflict button to allow the conflicting shifts. Conflicts could even occur for shifts that are saved as drafts and are not yet published. Drafts causing a conflict will show up when clicking on the conflict icon.
When all conflicts have been resolved, No Conflicts will pop up when clicking on the conflict icon.
