Learn how to enable schedule change notifications in VeriClock to automatically notify employees when shifts are published or updated. This guide explains how to turn on scheduling alerts, choose recipients and delivery methods (email, SMS, or in-app), customize notification messages, and disable notifications when they’re no longer needed.
Automatic notifications can be sent to employees to notify each time a shift is published or changed.
To enable Scheduling in your account, go to the tabs Settings-->Scheduling-->check the box next to Enable Scheduling Feature-->click the blue Save button.
Notify when Shift is Published or Changed
Under the Alerts heading, click on Add Alert --> On Schedule Change
After clicking On Schedule Change, you can
- Choose who should receive the notifications
- The notification methods (Email, SMS, Notification to VeriClock account)
- Click on the "comment" icon box to open the message dialogue box
- Any special message you want to include in the notification (optional)
To disable notifications when shifts are published or edited, simply click on the Garbage Can icon.
