This guide walks employees through the process of clocking in using the VeriClock app, whether you're on your phone, tablet, or another device. Learn how to start tracking your time easily and accurately.
Note: If your app doesn’t match the pictures below, you are likely using an older version. Please skip to the bottom of this guide for instructions on how to use that version.
When you first log in, you will be on the Punch Clock page. Follow these steps to start your shift:
- Select your Job: Tap the "Job" dropdown box and pick your current job from the list. (If you don't see this box, just move to the next step.)
- Select your Service: Tap the "Service Item" dropdown box and pick your specific task. (If you don't see this box, you can skip this step.)
- Clock In: Tap the orange Clock In button.
Note: If you see a geofence warning or block pop-up, you may need to pick a different job to continue clocking in. Read the message in the pop-up for specific instructions. If you don't see this, just keep going.
- Add Notes: In the "Clock In Report" box, type any notes your employer needs to see, for example, if you're running late or need to leave early.
- Finish: Tap the orange Complete Clock In button.
Note: You might see a few questions below the Clock In Report box that need to be answered before you can finish. If you tap the button and see a red error message, it just means a required question was missed. Simply answer those questions and then tap Complete Clock Out again.
- Your clock in was successful! You can now tap Close.
