Learn how to log into and switch between multiple VeriClock accounts using the web browser login. This guide explains login options for shared or unique email addresses, how to bookmark and save account URLs, and how to resolve common “invalid username or password” errors, including best practices for requesting password resets when one email is linked to multiple accounts.
Switching between VeriClock accounts may be necessary if your company has multiple VeriClock accounts, or if you are listed as a user in multiple accounts. There are two login options for logging into multiple VeriClock accounts.
Option 1 - The easiest way to log into multiple VeriClock accounts is directly from the VeriClock website by clicking Login in the top right corner of the page.
If using a different email address per account, then your email address will bring up the account associated with that email address.
Note: If you get an 'invalid username or password' error message when logging in, scroll down to the bottom of this page for troubleshooting instructions.
If using the same email address across multiple VeriClock accounts, after clicking Continue you will get a list of all accounts associated with your email address. This login method can be used to choose and log into each account as needed.
Option 2 - Save each account login to your home screen or browser favorites. Either log into each of your VeriClock accounts using Option 1, or ask your account administrator to send you your account URL's (Web addresses). You can also contact VeriClock chat from the bottom right corner of your Vericlock screen to ask for the URL's for all VeriClock accounts associated with your email address.
As you log into each account URL, bookmark the account page, or save to favorites in your web browser. It is recommended to rename all bookmarks so that each account is distinct.
If using Chrome, click the star icon to the right of your URL, or click the three vertical dots in the top right corner of your screen>click on Bookmarks and Lists>click on Bookmark this tab.
After logging in, there may also be an option in your internet browser to save your VeriClock account to your computer home screen.
How to resolve an 'Invalid username or password' error - this error message means there is an error in either your email address or your password field. The easiest way to resolve this error is to click on 'Forgot Password' and send yourself a password reset email.
If you do not get your password reset email - this means it was likely the email address giving you that error. Password resets can only be sent to the email address listed in your VeriClock employee profile. If you do not know your email address or if you need to use a different email address, contact your administrator to update your email address for the VeriClock account you are trying to log into.
If you get your password reset email - this means it was likely your password giving you the error. You will need to reset your password from the link in your password reset email. Once you reset your password, your page will show a confirmation that your password reset was successful, or you will get a red error directing you to choose a different password.
If requesting a password reset for an email associated with multiple accounts - It is not recommended to request a password reset directly from the VeriClock website for an email address that is listed as a user in multiple accounts, as it could affect other VeriClock passwords already saved for that email address. For email addresses listed in multiple VeriClock accounts it is recommended to request any password resets using the login page from the URL you wish to request the password reset for. If you do not have access to the correct URL, contact VeriClock support for assistance.
Note: Due to recent security enhancements, any password created or reset for a user login must be at least 12 characters long and contain a minimum of 4 unique characters.
