VeriClock report filters let you quickly narrow reports to the exact data you need by employee, job, service item, or group. Using include and exclude options, reports can be filtered in real time before previewing, downloading, or printing. Filters can also be saved directly into custom report templates, allowing teams to reuse standardized views without reapplying criteria each time. This makes reporting faster, more accurate, and easier to tailor for payroll, job costing, management review, and audits.
How to Filter Your Report
Go to Reports > Reports, select your time period, and the template you want to view.
Click the blue Filters button
This lets you filter your report to show only the information you need.
You can filter by:
Employee
- Include From List
- Exclude From List
Job
- Include From List
- Exclude From List
- Include from list - with children
- Exclude from list- with children
Group
- Include From List
- Exclude From List
Service Item
- Include From List
- Exclude From List
To select one or a combination of these options, click the check box beside each filter
On the left, select the filter you want to include or exclude.
On the right of your page, either search or click on the dropdown to select from the list of items. Selected options will then appear above the box with a red X.
Click the blue Close button to return to the report page.
Note: clicking Reset will clear any selected filters and reset the filter page back to the default.
A summary of the filters you selected will appear in the box below.
To view your report with the filter(s) selected, click the blue Preview button
Adjust your filters + preview any changes as needed, or download your report with any filters in place.
Save Filters into your Report Template
To save filters into your reports, click the blue Customize button
Scroll down the page and click the blue Template Filters Button
The 'Template Filters' page works just like the regular 'Filters' page. Choose the filters you want, click Close, then click Save Template to keep those filters in your report template.
Save Templates
There are two ways to save your report Template:
Save - This updates an existing custom template. You can’t use this option with a default template, so the button will be grayed out unless you’re working on a template you’ve already created and saved.
Save As New Template - This creates a brand-new template using your current report and any changes you've made. We recommend giving it a clear name so it’s easy to recognize later.
