Learn how to manage draft schedules in VeriClock before publishing them to employees. This guide explains how draft shifts are displayed, how to publish individual or multiple draft shifts, how to clear unwanted drafts, and how to avoid scheduling conflicts by resolving issues before publishing finalized schedules.
Shifts can be saved as a draft until they are ready to be published. Saved drafts can be viewed by employees, and are displayed in a greyscale to differentiate between published shifts.
Drafts can be deleted, published individually by editing the shift, or all drafts can be published together by clicking on the publish button. Publishing drafts will only publish the drafts for the week displayed.
Clear Drafts
Clicking on Clear Drafts will display a popup with the option to delete all drafts. Once deleted, drafts will no longer be available.
Publish a Single Draft
You can publish a single draft by clicking on the event, editing that event if needed, and then clicking Publish Edits at the bottom of the edit shift page.
Publish all drafts
Publish all drafts by clicking on the Publish button in the top right corner of the page. Only conflicting events will display the option to edit the event from the Publish page.
Clicking on publish without editing or deleting conflicts first, will lead to schedule conflicts. See our guide on Resolving Scheduling Conflicts.
