Learn how to copy employee hours from a previous week in VeriClock to quickly add recurring shifts or repeat schedules. This guide explains how to use the Copy Week From feature in the Add Time Grid to duplicate weekly hours for an employee and ensure copied time appears correctly on timecards and payroll reports.
This feature can be used to copy an employee’s hours from a previous week, or add time for shifts that reoccur week by week.
How to use Copy Week From
This can be done in several quick steps:
- First go to the tabs Time → Add Time Grid and search for an employee to add time for
- Next click the arrow on either side of the date, to navigate to the week you need to add time to
- Then at the bottom of the page, click Copy Week From
- Select the employee to copy hours from
- Click on a day within a calendar week to view. All hours worked by the employee from the selected week are displayed to the right of the calendar
- Click the Copy button, to copy all hours from the displayed week
Note: Copy week from works to copy hours from a single week for one employee at a time.
Any hours copied and saved, will be viewable on timecards and in reports the same as all other hours work are displayed.
