Learn how to manually enter time for multiple employees in VeriClock using the Multi-Create feature from the web or mobile app. This guide explains how to add shared shifts, apply jobs or service items, enter duration or start/stop times, and use Multi-Create for holidays or recurring work to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing.
From time to time, you may need to manually enter time for multiple employees that worked the same job and the same shifts.
To do so:
- Go to Time --> Add Time - Grid --> Multi-Create
- Select the employees you are adding time for, the Job and Service Item (if required).
- Enter the hours worked by entering the specific start and stop time or ignore start/stop times and type in a duration right into the grid square.
- Enter any notes or custom information required
- Click Save
Using Multi-Create for Holidays
Multi-Create is especially useful when creating a clock event to pay out for a holiday. If creating a holiday clock event AND using deductions, the holiday job and/or service item can be set as exempt from deductions so that lunch isnt deducted on holidays. See Adding and Editing Jobs & Service Items for more information.
